Extensive explaination

1. Book online

You can book a boat online, even for the same day. Fill out when you would like to rent a boat and from which dock you would like to depart. There are two Sloepdelen docks; the dock on the Nassaukade and the Borneosteiger. This means you can choose which starting point is most practical for you.

2. Receive the code

After you have completed your booking you will receive a code. With this code you can get the key to the boat out of the locker on the dock.

3. Get the key

Enter the code on the locker and open the door. Then take out the key above which a light has come on. The keys fit on all the boats, so you are free to choose any boat you like.

4. Unplug the blue plug

Then unplug the blue plug form the socket on the dock. As long as this plug is still plugged in the boat cannot start.

5. Close the draining plug

Make sure that the draining plug, which is located in the bottom of the boat, is properly closed. The draining plug is indicated with an arrow and can be closed by way of putting a plug into the hole. Then turn the handle of this plug towards the floor in such a way that the handle is parallel to the bottom of the boat. You know if the draining plug is properly closed when no water enters the boat.

6. Drive off

Are all the lines inside the boat? Then you can start the boat with the key. The boats are very easy to drive. With the joystick you will be able to move the boat forward and put it in reverse. With the helm you can steer the boat to the right and left.

7. Return the boat

Make sure you return the boat in time so others don’t get disadvantaged. Put the boat back in the same direction as the other boats, pull the plug out of the draining plug and plug the blue plug back into the socket on the dock. With the help of the same code you can open the locker on the dock again and put the key back.
